Our Supporters
Until 2010, there were only two businesses in the Children’s Village San Mateo (Bolivia): the cultivation of fruit and vegetables and a carpentry workshop. Thanks to financial help from the Margit and Dieter Klauss Foundation, a new bakery was built. It went into operation for the first time in October 2010. As early as November, 35–40 kilograms of dough were processed and net proceeds of 115 euros per week were generated.
In our Kinyo Children’s Village in Uganda, the Klauss Foundation supported the construction of a residential building with € 8,000 in 2015.
In 2020, a new administration building was built on the grounds of our agricultural school in Kigarama (Rwanda). The construction costs of € 15,000 were borne by the Klauss Foundation.
In 2022, the Klauss Foundation supported the construction of the first family home for orphans in our emerging Children’s Village Tariro Haven in Zimbabwe with €12,000.
Die Margit und Dieter Klauss Stiftung unterstützt unser Kinderdorf Kinyo mit der Finanzierung eines Wohnhauses.
Im Kinderdorf San Mateo (Bolivien) gab es bis 2010 nur zwei Gewerbe: Der Anbau von Obst und Gemüse und eine Schreinerei. Durch die finanzielle Hilfe der Margit und Dieter Klauß Stiftung konnte eine neue Bäckerei gebaut werden. Im Oktober 2010 ging diese erstmals in Betrieb. Schon im November wurden 35 – 40 Kilogramm Teig verarbeitet und es konnte ein Nettoerlös von 115 Euro pro Woche erwirtschaftet werden.
In Kigarama entsteht auf dem Gelände des Kinderheims ein neue Bürogebäude. Die Baukosten von 15.000 € werden von der Margit und Dieter Klauß Stiftung getragen.
